Welcome to our dog boarding facility! We understand that you may have questions about our services, procedures, and how we care for your furry family members. Below are some frequently asked questions to provide you with all the information you need.

What should I bring for my dog's stay?

 Food: Please bring your dog’s regular food to maintain their digestive comfort. Bring extra in case your pets stay longer than expected. We also encourage you to bring treats!

Bedding: If you wish to bring your own bedding, ensure it’s washable. If not we will provide blankets.

Items from home: You can bring toys, towels, or blankets to make your dog feel more at ease.



Can I visit my dog during their stay?

Yes, you’re welcome to visit your dog during their stay. However, please schedule visits in advance, and consider that visits might excite your dog or disrupt their routine. Visits must be scheduled inside our business hours.

Are there any breed restrictions?

We do not have breed restrictions. We welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes.



How often will my dog be fed?

We follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule to maintain their routine. Please provide clear feeding instructions.

What happens if my dog has a medical emergency during their stay?

You will be contacted at the emergency number you provide. We will take your pet to the veterinarian of your choosing.



Can my dogs from the same household stay together?

Yes, dogs from the same household can stay together in the same suite if requested. If they stay together a discount is offered. The cost is $20 for the first dog and $15 for each additional dog per day.

Do you administer medications?

Yes, we can administer medications. Please provide clear instructions and the medications in their original packaging. Bring extra in case your pets stay longer than expected.

How often are the dogs let out?

Dogs are let out at least four times a day in our secure play area.

 

What vaccinations are required for boarding?

We require up-to-date vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and bordatella (kennel cough). Please bring proof of vaccination. You can also have your vet email records in advance to backyardboardingllc@gmail.com.

How can I make a reservation?

You can make a reservation by contacting us via phone, email, or through our online booking system on our website.

Can I bring my dog's favorite treats?

Yes, you can bring your dog’s favorite treats. Please let us know if your dog has any allergies or dietary restrictions.

Is there a minimum age requirement for dogs to stay at your facility?

We typically accept dogs over 12 weeks old. Puppies must have completed their initial round of vaccinations.

What should I do if my travel plans change?

If your travel plans change, please notify us as soon as possible to adjust your booking.
